Well .....as most of you know I am now home because of the corona virus. I am heart broken to leave my home in NZ, that country has my heart and I will miss everything about it. I am so grateful for every experience I had and all the amazing people I was able to meet. I will cherish those relationships and memories for the rest of my life:’) I know that this is heavenly fathers plan for me, even if I can’t understand it right now. This is definitely not what I wanted to happen, but I know that this will all be for my benefit in the end. I have no idea what the future holds, but I am looking forward with faith and trust that I will be able to continue my mission else where for the time being and hopefully be able to return to New Zealand again as a missionary! God has a plan and I know everything will work out.
My friend shared with me a scripture today that I loved. It’s in Romans chapter 8 verse 18
“ for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us”
These trials are all a part of the process. Each struggle we face with help us reach our end goal- eternal life with our Heavenly Father. All of this is for our growth and learning. It’s hard to recognize that right now, but through faith in our loving Heavenly Father we can have the strength to overcome all of this<3
As I am in quarantine for the next 12 days I would love to hear from you all! I know a lot of us have been effected by the corona virus in some way or another and now is the time for us to join together and support one another. I pray for you all and I hope you are safe and protected.
