First month down and first baptism!

This was an amazing week! I had my first baptism on saturday for Francis and everything went so good! The water was super cold tho so he was FREEZING. haha good memories! 

I hit my first month on saturday and I cannot believe I have been gone for a month. Time is moving so fast and the work is so good! To celebrate my one month Sister Sapoi and I went to smokys which is an amazing burger place. It was delicious and reminded me of home. 

We have a lot of people to teach and this next week is going to be crazy busy! I am so pumped! We have zone conference, interviews with president, and lots of teaching appointments. 

Life is good here in Manurewan. The only thing is I am getting eaten alive by the bugs. Its been rough but oh well hahaha. They just love me hehe

This gospel is so good and I am so grateful I got to witness Francis' baptism. I am so grateful for the covenants we make with God and how they keep us accountable. God loves all of you and I love all of you so much!

Sistah Uata (new companion) and Sistah Beck in Manurewa Hello everyone this has been a crazy week, but I am doing so good! I have a new companion, Sister Uata, and I am in the same area! Sister Uata is from California and she is Tongan, but she is in the Samoan program (which means she was originally assigned to labor in NZ to the folks who speak Samoan) and now she is serving in a Tongan ward. Its crazy but God works in mysterious ways. This area is amazing and we have seen so many miracles this week. The work here in Manurewa is INSANE. Guys I know I always say this, but there is so much to do. We have 2 baptisms this week and we had 8 people at church on Sunday! It was crazy. We have never had more than like 4 people before. There is always so much to do. It can be overwhelming at times, but I am so grateful.  The reason this area is doing so well is because of the members . Q-time....PDay at home

Well .....as most of you know I am now home because of the corona virus. I am heart broken to leave my home in NZ, that country has my heart and I will miss everything about it. I am so grateful for every experience I had and all the amazing people I was able to meet. I will cherish those relationships and memories for the rest of my life:’) I know that this is heavenly fathers plan for me, even if I can’t understand it right now. This is definitely not what I wanted to happen, but I know that this will all be for my benefit in the end. I have no idea what the future holds, but I am looking forward with faith and trust that I will be able to continue my mission else where for the time being and hopefully be able to return to New Zealand again as a missionary! God has a plan and I know everything will work out.  My friend shared with me a scripture today that I loved.
