I am alive!!

 Hello everyone!

I'm doing good! I got transferred this week and I am in a new area with a new companion! I miss my last area so bad and all the people there, but I know I was sent here for a reason. I am in New Plymouth with sister Kei! Sister Kei is from Papa New Guinea and she is so cool! We are doing good and just trying to keep working with all the craziness going on. Most people don't want us over, but we will keep trying. Just have to remember that everything is in Heavenly Fathers hands and that he has a plan for all of us! I'm not worried, just have to keep going and smile through it all. I love you all and I pray that you all stay safe! Have a good week!

Saying goodbye is hard......

My Manurewa peeps!!

Good bye sister Uata....last pic with my hoa

Karate lessons with my new comp (sister Kei) and our new friends in New Plymouth

OK SO THIS IS HOW THE PICTURES GO.......
Eryn only had a small window to say goodbye to her Manurewa people because she was hoping she was staying but God had other plans for her and she found out last second (the Elders had forgotten to tell her.)  She obediently packed up and went to Hamilton with her companion Sister Uata and where many other Elders and Sisters were changing companions.  She is finishing training Sister Kei in New Plymouth.  From Hamilton, she drove with Sister Kei to New Plymouth (Sister Kei was here for her first transfer).  They thought they were locked out of their flat but prayed hard to get in.  They have a set of elders in the area but no other sisters for an hour or so.(Eryn relied on the second set of sisters in Manurewa when they needed help) They are serving in a branch in New Plymouth.

Meanwhile back at Covid-19 breeding grounds....... the world is changing and it has begun to invade this lovely NZ island. The mission home gave them some supplies for their New Plymouth home, in case of lockdown. After a week of struggling to talk to people who are isolating, they found out today they will be staying in their flat for the next 4 wks but it appears they will be hunkering down in NZ according to President Erekson's letter. They spent p-day buying more groceries, a ukelele and games to pass some of the time.

Please pray for all the missionaries staying or going home. This a really weird time in this ol' world. I feel confident that are safe and being protected.

We hope you all are well.  Feeling blessed to enjoy some of Eryn's mission pictures.
Kia kaha!
